A different kind of support

Keltie spent years working alongside teens, young adults, and families through anxiety and difficult thought patterns before focusing her practice on OCD specifically. She understands how loud and convincing intrusive thoughts can be — and how tiring it is to fight them alone.

Her coaching is direct, warm, and practical. No lectures, no pathologizing — just consistent support from someone who takes OCD seriously and believes you can build a different relationship with it.

More about Keltie’s background
One step at a time

You don't have to see the whole path. Just the next right step.

If any of this sounds familiar

OCD looks different for everyone. Here are some of the ways it tends to show up for the people Keltie works with.

The checking that won't let up

You've locked the door, tested the stove, re-read the email — and some part of you still isn't sure. You want to trust yourself again.

Thoughts that show up uninvited

Intrusive thoughts arrive without warning and refuse to leave quietly, no matter how much you reason, argue, or bargain with them.

Carrying more than yours to carry

A weight of responsibility for things that aren't fully in your hands — and the exhaustion of trying to control what you can't.

Ready for steadier support

You've done a lot of this on your own. You're looking for someone who understands OCD and can walk alongside you consistently.

About

Hi, I’m Keltie.

Keltie Taylor in a coaching session

Keltie is a certified life coach who works specifically with people living with OCD. Her focus didn’t start there — it grew out of more than a decade spent supporting teens, young adults, and families through anxiety, identity questions, and difficult, sticky thought patterns, in both faith-based and secular settings across Canada, the United States, and New Zealand.

Along the way, she spent several years working in counselling roles — including running her own practice — specifically supporting people through anxiety, panic, and OCD. That work is where she first learned how loud intrusive thoughts can get, and how much of getting better comes down to simply not backing down from them. Today her practice is coaching, not counselling, but that grounding — paired with trauma-informed training — still shapes how she works: practical, steady, and honest about how hard this can be.

Before any of that, Keltie was an assistant coach for a nationally ranked collegiate hockey team — which is maybe why her coaching style leans more “here’s the plan, let’s build the habit” than “let’s sit with our feelings.” Clients tend to describe her as warm, but not soft — she’ll believe in you and hold you to the work.

Her approach

Direct, not clinical

Sessions feel like a conversation with someone who gets it — not an evaluation. Keltie asks good questions, listens closely, and tells you the truth.

Built around your actual life

OCD shows up differently for everyone. Coaching starts from your specific patterns, your routines, and what a good week would actually look like for you.

Steady and consistent

Change tends to come from small, repeated practice more than big breakthroughs. Keltie works with clients week over week to build that consistency.

Hopeful, on purpose

You are not your intrusive thoughts, and OCD is not the end of the story. Keltie holds that hope for clients even on the harder weeks.

Training & credentials

Keltie’s academic background includes graduate-level training in counselling studies — useful context for how she was trained, though her current practice is coaching, not therapy or counselling.

Life outside of coaching

Keltie lives in the Niagara Region, Ontario, with her husband, Jordan, and their three kids — Lucy (7), Sophie (5), and Levi (1). Most weekends you’ll find the five of them out exploring somewhere nearby, which is probably where she does her best thinking.

How I work

What coaching actually looks like

This is life coaching, not therapy or counselling. It’s a practical, structured partnership focused on how OCD shows up in your daily life — and what to do about it.

01

A first conversation

A relaxed, no-pressure call to talk about what you're dealing with and whether working together makes sense.

02

A plan built around your life

Not a generic program. We start from what your days actually look like and where OCD is taking up the most space.

03

Steady, regular sessions

Consistent one-on-one time, online, to build momentum instead of starting over each week.

04

Tools that outlast the session

Practical ways of responding to intrusive thoughts and urges that you can keep using long after coaching ends.

What’s included

Practical tools, not just talk

Concrete ways to respond differently to intrusive thoughts, urges, and the pull toward checking or reassurance — things you can actually use between sessions.

A mindset shift, over time

Learning to relate to intrusive thoughts as noise rather than instructions — so they lose some of their grip, session by session.

Daily-life structure

Routines, habits, and check-ins that make it easier to keep momentum, instead of relying on willpower alone.

Someone in your corner

Consistent, judgment-free support from someone who understands OCD and takes it seriously — not a program you work through alone.

What a session looks like

Simple and consistent, so coaching becomes something you can rely on rather than something to figure out each time.

First step
A short conversation to see if it's a good fit

Who it’s for — and who it’s not

This is likely a good fit if

  • You have a diagnosis of OCD, or you strongly suspect you're dealing with it
  • You're looking for practical, structured support alongside anything else you're doing
  • You're ready to practice new responses between sessions, not just talk about them
  • You want steady, one-on-one support from someone who won't pathologize you

Coaching isn’t the right fit if

  • You're in crisis or need clinical mental health treatment right now
  • You're looking for a diagnosis or a prescription
  • You want therapy specifically, rather than coaching
  • You're not able to commit to any practice between sessions

If that’s where you’re at, a licensed therapist or your doctor is the right first call — and that’s okay.
